We as Pakistanis are in love with food and it is a major part of our identity. We enjoy food on weddings, festivals, restaurants and weirdly enough even on funerals. However, in an attempt to keep up with our ever-growing demand of food, everyday the Pakistani food industry produces more than what is consumed and the extra food is disposed off.
It just doesn’t make sense that in certain parts of the country extra food is just thrown away to rot while in other parts people go to sleep on an empty stomach because they cant afford to eat. Seems unfair doesn’t it? That’s exactly what Huzaifa, Musa and Qasim thought and they decided to do something about it. They went on and founded Rizq which is an initiative with the aim of having a hunger free Pakistan.
