On a microscopic level, the human body is performing many tasks at the same time. It has billions of small individual parts that are working together in an organized manner. These small parts are grouped into substructures like cells, tissues, internal and external organs, and internal systems like the skeletal system, reproductive system, respiratory system, muscular system, etc. Activities in each substructure are controlled by the brain.
