Moraili Lal is a resident of Bahawalpur, Pakistan and he belongs to the hindu community. He is a pandit as well as a carpenter and when the sub continent was divided, his family decided to stay in Pakistan because that was where they were born and where they wanted their future generations to be born. He is a prominent member of his community and is respected by his muslim neighbours. Moraili talks about how religion is not a big factor in his community and how he has been living in harmony with the muslim majority for a long time. His story reminds us that Pakistan is a diverse country where different religious and ethnic minorities live and they are just as much of a Pakistani as you and me.
