I am sure many of you residents of Lahore are quite familiar with the Anarkali bazaar. A place as old as time. The market dates back to 200 years and remains one of the oldest surviving markets in South Asia.
Many say that the bazaar got its name from the nearby mausoleum thought to be that of a courtesan girl named Anarkali.
