After the 2022 floods in Pakistan hit, it became evident that sanitary napkins were not being considered a need but rather a luxury. Bushra Mahnoor and Anam Khalid recognised this gap and started Mahwari ( Menstrual) Justice, campaign that is not only providing menstrual products to the flood affected women but also starting a much needed conversation about period awareness.
