Rang dey Karachi is basically one big street art exhibition where artists from different and underprivileged areas of Karachi come together to paint murals and graffiti around Karachi imparting messages about social justice or highlighting key historical figures or highlighting ethnic and cultural diversity within the city.
This film is made by the “Karachi Storytelling Network for Peace” where we trained 80 university students from Karachi in mobile filmmaking and as a result, they created 16 films that highlight themes of interfaith harmony, peace-building and cultural diversity in the city of Karachi.
